I kicked my cat after this beat...

10NL. Don't worry about my abnormal raises, they were calling everything. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1026165

$100 Challege: Final Results

Here they are-

Total of 20 $5 Sng's:
1st 5
2nd 2
3rd 3
5th 5
6th 3
7th 3

Cashed in 10 of 20 Sng's
Total Profit: $45.10

I basically tried a mix of 6person, and 9person Sng's. I found 6p to be easier to win for some reason. I think it's worth dropping 3 players while reducing it to 2-in-the-money.

Tired. Laterz...

a few hands...

Here's a hand I thought was pretty standard based on what I knew. Aubrey had been reraising mediocre hands all game. I also knew she slowed wayy down when she hit, so I pretty much expected a hand like KQ KJ AJ QJ or even AT here.

This is the luckbox hand that won me the 10th SnG. Pretty standard call I think, no reason to feel bad.

$100 Challenge - Half-time Report

Results:
1st: 2
2nd: 1
3rd: 3
6th: 3
7th: 1

Well, I got off to a great start friday night, placing in the money on my first 4 Sng's and winning 1 of those thanks to a few premium hands. Next day, I wasn't really getting many premiums or decent hands inposition, and when i did get say, QQ and JJ i went allin vs AK and got outdrawn. That's how I got those low place finishes. However, I did manage to battle the 10th SnG out for 1st.

I'm starting to get frustrated with my TAG style. I've been seeing too many Loose(r) players banking. I know my solid play will win in the end, but I still can't help get annoyed with AT, KT, AJ, QJ raisers, and bad flops. I think I'm going to play no more than 3 SnG's in one session, because after the 3rd, I'm pretty tired of just sitting around, waiting for 50 hands.

Maybe I'll post a few big hands a little later today.

Peace

$100 Challenge

My first challenge will be a nice, easy starter - 20 $5 Sng's at FullTilt under the name 'DeepAttack'.

It should take me about 2 days to comfortably complete this. I'll post some hands when I'm half way through so you guys can tell me what you think.

Thanks guys,

Giancarlo.

INTRO: About

Hey poker dogs,

I've decided to make this blog to record the long and trecherous journey I'm going to be going through, in my attempt to become an online poker pro.

At the moment, I'm a 21 year old real estate agent in Miami looking to take my poker talent to another level (My donkeytest.com score I recently took was (94) so you guys can get an idea of where I'm at. That's considered an average player in their scale).

I recently created a nice $300 bankroll from a $1.40 freeroll i won at the small but effective www.poker4ever.com site. After winning the freeroll, i just started playing tiny 10cent, 20cent, 50cent tournies until i had enough to play micro 5L tables. Two weeks later I won 2 larger tournies for a combined profit of $140. From then I just made by way up with their 10NL tables, and here I am.

Anyways, my Main Goal will be to create a $50,000 Bankroll from $300. I prefer not to put a timeline for my Main Goal, but rather split it up into smaller challenges.

I hope at least some of you will be able to take something valuable out of this, because I know of the many other aspiring players who would love to be able to take their online game to another level.

I'll appreciate any comments and critiques and hope you guys will follow me as I attempt to 'grind' my way to the top.

Cheers.
